Festooned

Colorful, sunny comic. Panel 1. Alma is on the porch of her bungalow welcoming two people. She says: "Thanks for coming to our go-native planting party!" and "Neville! What are you dragging?" Panel 2: close-up of a branch being held by a man. A snail crawls up it. Neville says "A fallen branch, festooned with lichen!" and "One of your neighbors had it on the curb for the yard-waste crew, but I rescued it!" Panel 3: Alma says "Of course they had it on the curb! Why would anyone want a rotting log?!?" Neville replies "But my dear, rot is the point!" A grasshopper is on the log. Panel 4: Willow says "Neville's right. Let's use branches to border the paths. Were there any more?" Neville says "Yes. I picked the most lovely one for you, Alma. But there are two or three more." Alma says in a small voice "ooooh-kaaaaa." A red centipede is on the log.
